Ron Artis painted this mural in 1996. Before Ron Artis painted this mural the owner of the Supermarket ( Ron Shima ) had to repaint this wall several times a year because of vandals.
Ron Artis carefully chose a theme that reflects the neighborhood and
the result was 100% vandal proof.
The Mountains have a Mt. Rushmore effect with the Kings and Queen of Hawaii' faces coming out of the mountain range. Further down the mural , there is a image of Jesus playing with the Dolphins and other see creatures. At the very top of the mural Ron Artis wrote the words " A Gift To Waimanalo"
